Arcade & Attraction Debit Card Readers

Used in conjunction with Player Cards, Pathfinder's debit card readers are a very cost effective way to introduce excitement and possibilities to your facility. At a much lower price than competing card readers, Pathfinder's Card Readers are both attractive and reliable. In an arcade, debit card readers can be used to activate games using either stored value or a time play. At attractions, they can be used instead of tickets or cash for admissions. The possibilities are endless.

Worried about reliability? Should your network go down, our debit card readers will continue to work. When the network goes back online, accounts will be updated with the transactions that took place during the outage.

  • Runs over RS-485 (Multipoint) networking, using standard CAT-5 cabling, up to 254 readers per run
  • Can split and daisy-chain readers, eliminating the need for lots of home runs
  • Can also communicate wirelessly with up to a 1/4 mile range
  • Run multiple different servers in different locations to share load or simplify cabling
  • Backup mode allows readers to continue to work even if the network is down
