Inventory Control

Pathfinder's Inventory Control system, which integrates with Point Of Sale and every other Pathfinder Advantage application, is a comprehensive system that ties all the applications together. Not only does it allow you to keep different inventories of the same item separate by using stockrooms, it features a fully-featured inventory auditing system as well. Receiving inventory is made very simple and fast, and supports the importing of Digital Packing Lists (DPL's). For a list of supported DPL redemption vendors, please see our Links page.

Each inventory item in each stockroom can be assigned general ledger numbers so that the inventory system can help to track your accounting. We also do all of your cost accounting for you, and provide detailed reports based upon the general ledger numbers for you accountant.

Inventory Tracking

  • Keep track of your current quantity on hand and total cost for each item you sell

  • Audits can be "blind" so the employee can't see the expected quantity, or with the expected quantity visible to them
  • Reports can show what your overall over/short for each item is over a period of time, combining all of the individual audits
  • Audits are used as a part of our Cost Analysis Report, which compares sales against all of you cost factors over a period of time
